Background

Geoff Edgell is an expert in masonry construction, masonry products, ie. bricks and blocks of all materials, mortars and ancillary components (ties, straps, hangers and lintels). He leads the UK delegation to the European Committee responsible for standardisation of these products and chairs the European committee responsbile for testing those products. He leads the UK delegation to the European Committee producing Eurocode 6 the design code for masonry. CERAM Building Technology provide research, development and testing of building components and systems including on site testing of structures. All types of structural and environmental testing on a wide range of materials and structures are covered to national, international or bespoke standards.
