Chartis Announces Multi-Line Coverage Approach to Construction Insurance Products

Chartis today announced the introduction of Construction Solutions for Small Business, developed by its Small Business Division as a multi-line coverage approach designed to provide a wide array of construction-related insurance products to address construction exposure needs.

This new practice will offer the full product set currently available from the Small Business Division for construction risks, which includes: general liability; auto liability; workers’ compensation; excess and environmental insurance.

Construction Solutions for Small Business aligns with Chartis’ commitment to facilitate the development of robust risk placement solutions by brokers for their clients. Construction Solutions for Small Business provides brokers with a one-stop shop for construction-related insurance, which will enable them to receive quotes on excess and environmental insurance alongside the requested general liability, auto liability and workers’ compensation quotes.

“The multiple coverage line approach allows construction clients the ability to minimize coverage gaps, and enhances loss control and claims handling activities,” said Brian Inselberg, President of Small Business. “In addition, the multi-line placement helps clients maximize their premium dollars.”
