Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (Nasdaq: BECN) ("Beacon" or the “Company”) announced today that it has been recognized by three separate publications for its recent accomplishments.

FORTUNE Magazine
Beacon has been named to the 2010 FORTUNE 1000 list of America’s largest companies by FORTUNE magazine.
Beacon makes its third consecutive appearance on the list, at number 917, up from number 965 in 2009, on revenues of $1.733 billion in 2009.
ProSales Magazine
Beacon has been recognized as the third largest residential construction supplier and distributor in the 2009 ProSales 100 survey by ProSales Magazine. In previous years the company has been ranked fifth, sixth, ninth and tenth respectively.
The ProSales 100 includes full-line lumberyards, lumberyards with manufacturing capabilities, and specialty distributors that sell a variety of product lines to builders, remodelers, and contractors.
The Boston Globe
Beacon was number 47 by the Boston Globe in its annual ranking of Massachusetts-based public companies. The Globe 100 ranks the best-performing, publicly traded companies in Massachusetts by how well they increased sales, profits, and returns for shareholders during 2009. Only 82 of the 902 Massachusetts public companies met the criteria to be included in the ranking this year making the list the most exclusive to date.
