Approved as an ignition barrier, ICYNENE ShelterShield™ is specially formulated to meet AC 377 requirements with Icynene light density spray foam insulations. While not the only intumescent fire retardant coating on the market, ICYNENE ShelterShield™ represents a breakthrough - employing a technology not used before in the spray foam industry. ICYNENE ShelterShield™ is also the most economical choice, achieving or exceeding the performance of more expensive alternatives. The other pluses of this simple to use, one component product include easy clean-up, 6 month shelf life and Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Available immediately, Icynene Dealers are now able to order both their spray foam insulation and fire retardant coating for delivery on the same truck. ICYNENE ShelterShield™ has been verified as code compliant by the ICC, the United States’ leader in evaluating building products for compliance with code. It is approved for use with either ICYNENE LD-R-50® or LD-C-50® as noted in ICC-ES report 2715 and 1826 respectively.
