Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it has launched a new company, LeighFisher Inc. (LeighFisher), dedicated to the management and strategy consultancy market. LeighFisher is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jacobs.
LeighFisher operates globally and provides management, strategy and planning advisory services to the transportation sector. While it is initially focused on providing services to the transportation sector, the Company is expected to expand into other industry segments.
In making the announcement, Jacobs President and Chief Executive Officer Craig Martin said, "The creation of LeighFisher enables us to drive higher levels of growth in our global consulting business and compete more broadly and effectively across that market."
Jacobs is one of the world's largest and most diverse providers of technical, professional, and construction services.
