Contech Construction Products Inks Deal with Plastic Pipe Manufacturer

JM Eagle, the world’s leading plastic pipe manufacturer, announced today it has entered into an agreement with Contech Construction Products that allows end users across the country access to Eagle Corr PE™, JM Eagle’s premier corrugated polyethylene pipe product line.

This partnership ties directly into JM Eagle’s strategic mix of customers and enhances its nationwide footprint for this line of products.

“It is our pleasure to announce that JM Eagle’s Eagle Corr is now available to Contech customers. Contech specializes in site solutions products and services and is known for its strength in the civil engineering and drainage industry. This partnership provides great growth potential for both businesses,” says Dan O’Connor, JM Eagle’s vice president of sales for PE.

Eagle Corr PE combines a corrugated exterior and a smooth interior for maximum hydraulic efficiency in a high-density polyethylene pipe. It has a high strength-to-weight ratio, is very flexible and weighs less than other competing products, making it easier to install without sacrificing durability or structural strength. Designed for use in engineered construction, its applications extend from commercial and residential drainage to irrigation/agricultural and capital improvement projects.

Eagle Corr PE is currently manufactured in sizes ranging from 4-inch to 60-inch diameter, and is produced in 20-foot lengths, which reduces the number of joints needed by 60 percent versus traditional storm drainage products. Additionally, it has a watertight, dual gasket, bell-and-spigot joint and provides unmatched resistance to corrosion, abrasion and UV degradation.

“We are excited about the opportunity to be working with JM Eagle, a company with a world class reputation,” said Ron Keating, President and CEO of Contech. “The value of gaining access to these products enhances the product line we offer our customers and further positions Contech as a market leader in the drainage industry.”
