Gate Precast to Provide Architectural Products for New VA Hospital in Florida

Gate Precast Company was recently selected by Brasfied & Gorrie to provide the architectural precast concrete exterior for the new VA Hospital, Clinic and Atrium, a $260.3-million project located in Lake Nona.

Construction is expected to begin in October with completion slated for 2012.

This is the fourth Department of Veterans Affairs medical project Gate has been awarded in the last two years. The company landed a 161,000 square-foot clinical addition at VA Hospital in Biloxi, MS; the 245,000 square-foot Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL; and the 178,000 square-foot Polytrauma Center at James A. Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa, FL.
