Lutron to Display Energy-Conserving Lighting Systems at Greenbuild 2010

Energy-saving products, educational events and new business opportunities will be the highlights at Greenbuild, the largest gathering of representatives from all sectors of the green building movement, November 16-18 in Chicago.

Booth Highlights

NEW Diva/C·L dimmer and Credenza/C·L plug-in lamp dimmer—Lutron is pleased to introduce two new dimmers, Diva®/C·L and Credenza®/C·L, that work not only with today’s most popular light bulbs, like incandescent and halogen, but also with dimmable CFLs and LEDs, which are expected to become even more widely adopted over the next 10 years. By installing one of these new dimmers, users will be able to reliably control the widest range of dimmable light sources available.

NEW Hi-lume® A-Series LED Driver–This new LED driver from Lutron is the most versatile driver currently available on the market. LEDs use less energy than CFLs and last for 50,000 hours–both benefits enhanced by the Lutron Hi-lume® A-Series LED driver. This LED driver is a high-performance, universal voltage driver that provides energy-efficient LED dimming smoothly and continuously from 100 percent to 1 percent of total light output. The Hi-lume A-Series LED driver is unmatched in its flexibility and dimming performance. It can also integrate with a multitude of lighting control products.

NEW EcoSystem® H-Series Ballast-Lutron has expanded the new EcoSystem H-Series Ballast line to include 347V options and a universal voltage 3-lamp version for T8 32Watt lamps. The EcoSystem H-Series ballast is a cost-effective option that offers increased flexibility, superior performance and easy installation. The ballasts are compatible with EcoSystem digital control components, including the EcoSystem Energi Savr NodeTM module, GRAFIK Eye® QS with EcoSystem preset light and shade controller, and Quantum®. Lutron light control solutions provide full control over the lighting in any space – from a single room to an entire building – providing users unprecedented levels of flexibility and comfort while saving energy.

NEW GreenScreen® ReviveTM Fabrics for roller shades-Lutron answers the ever-increasing need for environmentally friendly fabrics by introducing new GreenScreen Revive for roller shades. GreenScreen Revive fabrics are comprised of Repreve® polyester pre- and post-consumer waste (water bottles). The new fabric will achieve Cradle to Cradle certification upon its launch. Made in the USA, GreenScreen Revive fabric is 100% recyclable and available in 1%, 3% and in 2011 5% openness factors.

NEW Venetian Blinds with Intelligent Tilt Alignment™- Venetian blinds are an attractive and effective way to ensure privacy, while still allowing daylight to filter into a space. Lutron is pleased to introduce Intelligent Tilt Alignment technology, which maintains uniform tilt and lift positions across blinds, combines smooth, quiet motion with independent control of lift and tilt and features presets to recall blinds to a predetermined height and tilt angle for the ultimate in performance and style.
