DigiGlass Secures License Extension to Use DuPont's SentryGlas Expressions in Architectural Safety Glass

DuPont Glass Laminating Solutions has expanded a license to DigiGlass Pty, Ltd. in Melbourne, Australia, allowing DigiGlass to use DuPont™ SentryGlas® Expressions™ digital interlayer technology worldwide in structural and architectural laminated glass products.

The new license extends and expands on an earlier DuPont Alliance Agreement with DigiGlass giving them exclusive rights to make and sell printed polyvinyl butyral (PVB) interlayer products using SentryGlas® Expressions™ technology in the Australia/New Zealand market, as well as parts of Southeast Asia. DigiGlass started commercial production using DuPont™ SentryGlas® Expressions™ in 2003.

DigiGlass Pty Ltd. is a licensed supplier of decorative laminated safety glass using DuPont™ SentryGlas® Expressions™ digitally printed interlayer technology.

Expanded agreement allows DigiGlass to continue to make their product in Australia and now, to sell their products globally.

“DuPont™ SentryGlas® Expressions™ technology meets a continuing global demand for high-quality imagery and design textures in architectural safety glass," said Valerie A. Aunet, venture manager –DuPont™ SentryGlas® Expressions™. "Licensing this technology to strong partners such as DigiGlass, who specialize in decorative interlayers, helps DuPont bring its technology to architects, designers, builders, contractors and consumers around the world."
