INDOT Selects Jacobs to Provide Engineering Services for I-69 Roadway Project

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was selected to provide engineering services for Interstate 69 (I-69) under a design-build contract from the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).

The contract value is estimated at $83.9 million.

Jacobs is the design lead for the design-build team, which is overseen by Fred Weber, Inc. of St. Louis, Mo. The project scope includes design and construction of approximately 10.5 miles of I-69 with new roadway and bridges through Daviess and Greene counties. The I-69 design-build project is part of the new interstate corridor that is expected to improve connectivity within the State of Indiana and with the rest of the nation.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Kevin McMahon stated, "The new I-69 corridor is key to the economic vitality of southwestern Indiana. We are pleased to be part of the project, working with our construction partners and INDOT."
