Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it won a framework contract from BAA Airports Ltd. (BAA) to provide design engineering consultancy services across all six of its international airports in England and Scotland until 2015.
Jacobs' scope of work includes full multi-disciplinary design and engineering services, including architecture, mechanical and electrical engineering, and civil and structural engineering support to assist BAA in the implementation of projects as part of their ongoing multi-billion capital investment program.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Allyn Taylor stated, "We look forward to assisting BAA in its efforts to upgrade, replace and refresh its facilities to meet the future challenges and demands within the international airport sector."
