Kvanum Renovates Kitchen, Bathrooms and Cabinetry of Haga Palace

Kvänum creates kitchens fit for a queen, literally. World-renowned, Scandinavian kitchen design and cabinetry company Kvänum was chosen as the Royal Court of Sweden’s official kitchen, bathroom, and storage designer and supplier, and their cabinetry was installed in the newly renovated Haga Palace in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Haga Palace is home to newlyweds Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, and her husband, Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland. They moved into Haga Palace after their wedding in 2010 after Kvänum redesigned the kitchen, bathrooms, and storage areas of the over-200 year old Swedish castle.

It’s no coincidence that the royal family has chosen Kvänum. The company is an acknowledged leader of the Swedish kitchen cabinetry market and creates high-quality kitchens and furnishing solutions with style and functionality for new buildings, house and apartment renovations, and even palaces.

Kvänum San Francisco kitchen design showroom is currently the only retail outlet for high-end Scandinavian kitchen and bathroom cabinets in California and North America. The award-winning firm works directly with end customers, designers, contractors and architects on both residential and multi unit projects.

“The company is a family business and its loyalty to traditions is familiar to the royal circles,” said Kvänum San Francisco kitchen showroom manager Natalia Nordström. “Due to a unique combination of unshakable traditions and trendy technological innovations, Kvänum justly holds market leadership positions. Perfectly adjusted elements, harmonious symmetry and modern fittings make Kvänum kitchens technically unrivalled.”

The Kvänum Haga Palace kitchen, bathrooms, and storage were installed in 2010. The Royal Family chose the “Traditional” series in a Dalby door style. The San Francisco kitchen cabinet and design firm uses its 88-year past to ground both its cutting edge and traditional designs.

Kvänum’s fully equipped factory occupies more than 12,000 meters squared and its products go through the strictest ecological control and are made of the best materials. Besides regular designers, Kvänum invites artists with modern views to develop new furniture designs. Their kitchens are created personally for each client and have been awarded prizes, such as Elle magazine’s Elle Deco International Design Award, for their design.
