Canadian Construction and Building Products Showcase to be Held on March 15-17, 2011

Between March 15-17, Caribbean architects, engineers, developers, builders and contractors will get a close-up look at some of the most sophisticated, quality and environmentally-sound construction and building products and technologies Canada has to offer – and the media are invited to attend.

Hosted by the High Commission of Canada in Barbados and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (Canada's national housing agency), the Canadian Construction & Building Products Showcase will feature an exhibition of 30 Canadian firms, technical seminars and one-on-one appointments.

Program at-a-Glance

March 15, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Individual business meetings will be arranged where you will have the opportunity to meet with the Canadian firms to discuss short and long term business opportunities and mutually beneficial business relationship. Registration required.

March 16 – 17, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Technical Seminars. Get empowered by attending the educational technical seminars aimed at providing you with information on advanced Canadian environmental and sustainable building solutions. Educational sessions include: Control Air Leakage and Moisture Vapour Transmission, Advanced Composites in Building Structures, Designing with Insulated Concrete Forms and much more. Seating is limited. Registration required.

March 16 – 17, 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. Showcase - Network and meet with 30 Canadian manufacturers of building products and technologies. Visit their booth, see new products and technologies and receive pertinent information from the Canadian exhibitors on how to build better, faster and how to stay ahead of the competition.
