Foster Wheeler and Coalition Partners Sign Accord with Saudi Aramco

Foster Wheeler, a construction contracting and power equipment supplying company, declared that an auxiliary company of its Global Engineering and Construction Group along with its consortium partners have contracted with Saudi Aramco for providing services connected with the General Engineering Services Plus (GES+) program of Saudi Aramco for a period of five years with options to extend the period of contract.

The other partners of the consortium include Saudi Consolidated Engineering Company - Khatib & Alami (SCEC K&A), A. Al-Saihati, Al-Othman Consulting Engineering,, (SOFCON),  and A. Fattani. The other terms of the contract are not available.

The signed terms of the accord will require Foster Wheeler and its group partners to provide engineering and project management services. The services will include providing  front-end engineering design (FEED), pre-front-end engineering design (pre-FEED), elaborate design and acquisition of appropriate goods for  petrochemicals, refining, onshore and offshore oil and gas and other connected infrastructure projects of the company located in Saudi Arabia. The project works will be performed from the offices of the group in Al-Khobar city, Saudi Arabia.

According to Umberto della Sala, Foster Wheeler’s, interim chief executive officer, the signed accord with Saudi Aramco will allow Foster Wheeler and its associates a strong footing to provide their technical proficiency and complete the projects to best match the objectives of Saudi Aramco.
