Insulfoam Declares Opening of New EPD Insulation Plant in Western Pennsylvania

Insulfoam, a North American-based producer of block-molded engineered expanded polystyrene (EPS) products, has declared the opening of its manufacturing facility in Western Pennsylvania.

The new 200,000 square foot facility situated in Smithfield P.A. is expected to commence its operations in the summer of 2011. Insulfoam will share the production facility with Hunter Panels, its sister company.

According to John Cambruzzi, Insulfoam’s Director of Marketing & National Accounts, the EPS products manufactured by the company are 100% reusable and the energy efficient products provide constant R-value for a number years to both new and retrofit type of add on constructions. He explained that the company has expanded its operations in the East Coast to meet the growing demand for sustainable products and constructions. The new plant is ideally located to transport its manufactured products to all the places in New England and Mid-Atlantic and select places in Midwestern States

The new Smithfield, PA, plant of Insulfoam will join the other production plants of the company in places such as Alaska, Florida, Washington, Nebraska, California, Colorado, Arizona and Utah. The EPS construction and other special products manufactured at the plants cater to the requirements of engineers, architects, contractors and other OEM products producers all over North America.
