Winter Park Construction to Commence Memory Care Project in Longwood, Fla
Winter Park Construction (WPC), a company known for building senior living and memory care projects, has declared the news about the breaking-ground of Serenades by Sonata community project in Longwood, Fla.
The memory care community project designed to help Alzheimer's or dementia patients is the first pilot project for the Sonata Health Care Group and the group is planning to utilize the project as a model for its future memory care community projects
The 34,000 square foot community project will have 42 private and divided types of memory care entourages and will employ 41 people in the service. The community will be further split up into three housing style areas with each area offering separate private living and eating rooms for safety and to encourage visits from the family. A fully covered 10,000 square foot patio designed with park benches, circular paths, matured trees and arbors will provide a soothing environ to the inmates.
Winter Park Construction worked in the project along with other key partners namely Sonata Health Care, the owner and developer of the project, Baker Barrios the architect and Klima Weeks civil engineer for the project.
