Grace Construction Products Extends its Footprint in Latin America

Grace Construction Products, a subsidiary of W. R. Grace, expands its footprint in Latin America by opening new manufacturing plants in Colombia and Panama.

The new facilities will include quality control laboratories and technical services and sales offices. The facilities will serve the customers in Panama, Colombia, and across Central America by improving the delivery times and service.

Grace Construction Products’ new manufacturing plants in Panama City, Panama and Cartagena, Colombia will produce concrete admixtures and cement additives for concrete producers and cement producers respectively. The cement additives manufactured by the company help to decrease manufacturing costs and enhance cement quality. Similarly, the concrete admixtures will help in manufacturing cement with high strength and durability.

Latin America is a promising region for the growth of the Grace Construction Products. Grace’s Chairman, Fred Festa comments that the company will continue its investment on emerging regions to increase profit. With the establishment of new facilities, the company will improve product innovations and the industry expertise for developing new customer relations.

Grace Construction Products has already opened new facilities in Vietnam, China, and Saudi Arabia in 2010.
