Odersun, Lithodecor Collaborate to Supply Solar Façades
Odersun, a producer of tailor-made solar modules, and Lithodecor, a manufacturer of ventilated curtain wall systems, have declared their collaboration in the filed of solar façades.
The Artec façades apart from offering the typical natural stone and glass materials are currently offering multi-functional façade parts for easy integration with solar photovoltaic modules.
Odersun will provide tailor-made Copper-Indium-Disulphide (CIS) solar modules for the Airtec façades manufactured by Lithodecor. The existing façade solutions of Lithodecor also can be individually merged with new solar components supplied by Odersun. The solar modules produced and supplied by Odersun are either system-compatible or designed exclusively to meet the specific requirements of the building projects for easy integration thus enabling Lithdecor to supply standard sized systems as well as made-to-order type of solutions.
The currently supplied solar façade system is projected to support the builders who endeavor to construct or renovate buildings, meeting the energy saving standards and regulations. The new solar façade system comes as a perfect substitute for other façade components and pay-back the amount spent through the power generated from the solar façade.
The initial model of the Airtec Photovoltaic system was showcased at BAU 2011 held in Germany earlier received encouraging feedback from the industry.
