Lusio Solid-State Lighting Installs Energy-Efficient Lighting for Second Harvest Food Bank

Lusio Solid-State Lighting, a global brand and segment of LightWild, declared that it has completed the erection of Lusio SSL lighting fixtures at Second Harvest Food Bank located in East Central Indiana.

Second Harvest Food Bank is a not for profit agency that has been feeding the poor in the locality for the past 27 years. The agency has received Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) financed by the U.S. Department of Energy (USDOE) and managed by the Indiana Office of Energy Development (OED) in Indiana for taking energy-efficient measures for its office. For Food bank, Lusio Solid-State has selected the appropriate lighting fixture from its 80 models and installed them across various industrial and commercial areas.

According to Lois Rockhill, Second Harvest Food Bank’s Executive Director, the lighting fixtures installed by Lusio Solid-State will enable the customers to reap rewards in a few years time, thus allowing the not-for-profit agency to cut down their spending on energy bills and spend the excess cash for funding the meals.
