Virginia Eye Institute to Commence Construction of its Towne Center West Facility

Virginia Eye Institute has announced its plans to commence construction of its 16,000-square-foot all-inclusive eye care facility over its property at Towne Center West and situated in Short Pump (Glen Allen), Virginia.

The groundbreaking ceremony slated for 18th May 2011 will have participation of the representatives from Henrico County, its doctors and other administrative personal.

The new eye care facility planned over its 2.1 acre out parcel land will include services for pediatric ophthalmology, general ophthalmology, optometry, ocular plastics, and a full-fledged optical shop to cater to the needs of the communities located in Richmond and its nearby areas. Price Studios, a Richmond-based architecture company, has provided the design for the building. Taylor and Parrish, also a Richmond VA- based commercial construction company, will offer the needed general contracting services for the building construction.

Virginia Eye Institute (VEI) provides total eye care services and has its service facilities in 12 locations all over Central Virginia. It employs board certified and fellowship-trained physicians to provide eye care services. Its optical shops employ certified contact lens fitters and opticians. Its out-patient Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) offers ear, nose, and throat surgical facilities in addition to ophthalmology to adults as well as pediatric patients.
