Lauren CCL Engineers to Provide EPCM Services for Gujarat Solar One Project

Lauren CCL Engineers, Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCM) contractor based in India, declared that it has received a Letter of Award from Cargo Power & Infrastructure to deliver EPCM services for a proposed solar thermal power plant in Gujarat, India.

The 25 MW solar plant, known as Gujarat Solar One, will utilize solar thermal power to generate energy. The project will incorporate molten salt to store the solar power and to improve the power production efficiency. The molten salt storage medium will retain the solar heat energy to generate power even after the day time.

The present solar project is one of the four projects being handled by the company in India, taking its aggregate to 250 MW. The project is anticipated to be completed during the Q4 of 2012.
