City Center at St. Petersburg Undergoes Renovations

A partnership venture of Tower Realty Partners and Feldman Equities has declared the commencement of renovation work at the City Center in the business district of St.Petersburg during last month.

The Class A office building measuring 242,115 ft² comprises a four storey South Tower and a twelve storey North Tower and both the towers are connected by a common lobby and a six level parking storage.

According to Larry Feldman, Feldman Equities’ President, the partnership has bought the center with an idea of making certain improvements to make the center as an important landmark in downtown. He unveiled the plans to improve the construction of the building with appealing visual improvements such as new elevator cabs, paving the main entrance with granites and installing of new entry doors. The entry of the building will incorporate a Scandinavian style lobby, which will boast a glass skylight ceiling kept suspended at 65 ft level over the marble floor with ample sunlight. The lobby will include top level cultures such as all granite floors, dark wood base and blond oak paneling.

He added that with an idea to qualify for ENERGY STAR rating, the building will also include the most modern energy management system to improve the energy efficiency and cut down the level of energy intake. The air-conditioners proposed for the building will improve the quality of air supplied to tenants.

The new building is being constructed female friendly to assist the larger female population. The renovated rest rooms will instead of presenting an institutional look will present the look of a rest room at the house with Italian porcelain tiled floors and granite sinks and to improve cleanliness inside, the restrooms will have increased level of lighting.
