iLevel by Weyerhaeuser Distributes Cox Industries’ Treated Lumber Products in Eastern US

iLevel by Weyerhaeuser has inked a distribution deal with Cox Industries to supply its Ecolife and Cox D-Blaze branded preservative- and fire-treated columns, plywood and lumber products in certain Atlantic states.

Ecolife by Cox protects wood against weathering, termite damage and fungal decay, while Cox D-Blaze fire-retardant treated plywood and lumber products prevent spreading of smoke and flames. iLevel’s distribution centers located in Jacksonville, Charlotte and Richmond now distribute different Cox products based on the markets.

As per the deal, new distribution centers will be formed to supply Cox’s broad portfolio of fire-retardant lumber products and outdoor building materials. iLevel and Cox will also join forces on promoting sales and marketing activities, which include Cox’s educational sales program launched in 2008.

Jim Warnke who serves as iLevel Distribution’s East Division General Manager, commented that Cox treated-wood products are a perfect fit to iLevel’s extensive portfolio of building materials. The company offers quality products and services to meet the requirements of its customers, and Cox is one of the loyal brands in treated materials, he added.

Michael Johnson, Cox Industries’ Chief Executive Officer, stated that this partnership was formed to distribute quality products and services in an innovative and sustainable manner. Weyerhaeuser and Cox want to offer enhanced value to LBM dealers located across the eastern US by rapidly executing orders with a wide range of products, he said.
