The Edmonton warehouse facility measuring 195,000 sq.ft houses the operations facility of the company, which offers the all included supply chain solutions for varied clients in Canada, and incorporates a number of green features that led to its Silver Certification. During the construction process, the materials required were locally purchased within the specified range of the construction and recycled the materials made of plastic, wood and cardboard.

Some of the features that enabled the company to achieve LEED Silver include energy saving lighting controls such as variable intensity controls, motion detectors, dimmers, and automatic light schedulers to balance the natural lighting inside the building to bring down the power usage. The on-demand type of radiant heat lamps installed in the building provides quicker warming up of the earmarked locations in the lunchroom and warehouse.

Power monitoring feature in the building enables the meters to gather and scrutinize the energy usage data. The forklifts utilized in the facility incorporate quick charging batteries and utilize less power during the operations. The building uses ENERGY STAR graded office equipment and appliances and LED lighting to cut down the energy consumption. An installed energy monitoring system in the building, manages, schedules and supervises the air pressure and airflow of the installed HVAC system. To achieve a reduced level of greenhouse gas emissions even the delivery trucks to the building switch off the engine under normal weather conditions.
