NexCore Group Completes Construction of United Health Services Medical Facility

NexCore Group, a company that offers all inclusive healthcare real estate solutions for hospitals, healthcare systems and physician partners all over the United States, declared that it has set the final steel structure in place for the construction of an 85,000 sq.ft. outpatient medical facility for United Health Services (UHS). The new construction will be situated along the retail corridor of Vestal Parkway diagonally from Binghamton University.

NexCore, the Denver headquartered company has been offering project management and development services on the project valued around $30 million for UHS, a not for profit company. The 916 bed hospital and the included health care system will serve people at the Greater Binghamton region. The company offers its full range of health care services such as long term care, rehabilitation, surgical, and medical from over 40 places all over the Southern Tier of New York.

The three-storied health care facility is anticipated to become functional from the 3rd quarter of the year 2012 and will earn the distinction of the first one-step-shop facility in Vestal to offer multi-specialty ambulant care facility. The facility will have pharmacy services, laboratory, rheumatology, women care center and X-ray and other imaging services. The other amenities of the building include a canopy covered drop-off facility to reach the car parking, a main lobby, fire place and a café.

UHS services are planning to occupy the facility fully to commence physician practices on opening of the building. It will utilize the new building to combine several of its present primary care facilities.
