Beacon Roofing Supply, a primary roofing materials and associated building product supplier, has purchased Colorado-based Fowler & Peth, which is a supplier of commercial and residential roofing products and its accessories. Fowler & Peth has two sites in Wyoming, six in Colorado and one in Nebraska.
Fowler & Peth’s co-owner has commented that the company is delighted to be amalgamated with Beacon Roofing Supply. It chose Beacon due to its status and size in the industry, and its commitment to the clients and employees, though Fowler was free to choose from several strategic opportunities. He also added that the company’s union with Beacon will facilitate Fowler to quickly expand its business and offers more opportunities for the employees to enhance career growth.
The President and CEO of Beacon Roofing Supply, has highlighted that the acquisition is a strategic move and that the companies are compatible to each other..It added that the industry leader, Fowler & Peth, will permit Beacon to establish its presence in the significant Denver market and to assist the clients of the adjacent states. Fowler plays a vital role in Beacon’s plan of extension towards the west and will enable additional geographic expansion of the company.
