HWI Global Secures Stem Cell Therapy Clean Room Contract from Medical Center
HWI Global, a clean room design builder based in Pittsburgh, has secured a contract to offer specialized construction services that will include designing and renovating the KCC B2-Stem Cell therapy clean room.
The company has planned to commence this construction in December. It will undertake this clean room project concurrently with a second project, which was recently received by the company to renovate a USP 797 sterile compounding clean room. At present, the company has a yearly contract for the preventative maintenance of the pharmacy clean room’s sixth floor.
The CEO of HWI Global, Deric Haddad, has commented that the company has extended its services from just maintaining and building the pharmacy’s clean rooms to renovating a clean room for stem cell therapy and he considers that as a leap forward for the company. Turnkey design-build services have been done for Stemnion’s two projects, Stemnion being a Pittsburgh–based regenerative medicine company. HWI Global is glad that it has entered the stem cell applications field for its existing Hospital customers. The company is delighted to extend its association with Mt. Sinai Medical Center.
Mitchell Architectural Group, Connecticut selected HWI Global for this design-build construction project. Hunter Roberts Construction Group has sub-contracted this company.
