Rockpanel Earns A+/A Rated Facade Cladding Distinction

Rockpanel based on life cycle assessment, has been presented with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) by the prestigious British Building Research Establishment ( BRE).

Rockpanel’s commitment to sustainable construction has now been formally recognized. Following the certification, the excellent sustainability of Rockpanel’s facade cladding products has been distinguished in the market.

Based on international standards, BRE conducted the life cycle assessment independently. Following the assessment, the environmental performance of the construction systems from beginning till the end was determined. The prestigious A+ and A grades were presented to the Rockpanel cladding systems. BRE’s EPD award demonstrates Rockpanel products to have a prolonged lifespan of approximately 60 years.

The product’s sustainability rating is one of the principle basis for construction projects. With this unique recognition, Rockpanel’s facade cladding is proven to be the ideal choice for UK’s sustainable construction project, demonstrating the country’s commitment to sustainable design and construction. Design-based building assessments such as BREEAM support sustainability. Rockpanel’s recent sustainability development is the utilization of green energy for the entire manufacturing process of stone wool and related materials.

Functioning as a part of the Rockwool International A/S Group, Rockpanel is more focused on sustainability. Its manufacturing facilities accommodate eco-friendly processes and consistent recycling. Basalt, a readily available renewable material forms the basis for all the Rockpanel products, ensuring the product’s complete sustainability. Building projects prefer Rockpanel products due to its fully recyclable features, natural raw material, low maintenance, safe use, efficient manufacturing process, and sustainability.
