Margulies Perruzzi Achitects (MPA), a interior design and architecture firm based in Boston and Cutler Associates have been chosen to design and construct the new medical office building of Oriol Healthcare located in Holden, Massachusetts.
According to the contract, MPA will design and construct a three story building covering an area of 36,000 sq.ft. The building will be used to provide family medical practice and other health care providers apart from the skilled nursing facility and all the other medical arts that are being provided in the site.
According to the LEED AP, Vice President for Senior Living and Healthcare for Cutler Associates, Garth Johnson the company is looking forward to partner with Oriol Healthcare since healthcare design is now more focussed on patients and yields healthy results. According to Marc Marguiles who is the LEED AP for MPA Oriol healthcare is becoming patient centric and this can be seen in the design requirements of the building. MPA provides design and construction services to real estate, healthcare, corporate, research/lab and professional services sectors. Major clients of the firm include Hobbs Brook Management, Forrester Research, Nuvera Fuel Cells and Fallon Clinic.
