Sherwin-Williams Signs Multi-Year Supply Agreement with Riverstone Residential Group

US-based Sherwin-Williams specialising in supply of flooring, coatings and products that are related to multifamily housing market has signed a multi-year supply agreement with Riverstone Residential Group, a third-party multifamily management provider.

According to the agreement, Riverstone Residential will directly source flooring material and paint from Sherwin-Williams. The agreement also states that Riverstone Residential will be the exclusive marketing partner for paint products of Sherwin-Williams and the preferred marketing partner for its flooring from 2012 to 2014.

Sherwin-Williams is the largest single source supplier of masonry coatings, paints, stains and branded floor coverings and walls in North America with a distribution network that consists of 3,400 stores, 120 floor covering centres and 1,700 representatives. Riverstone Residential offers a portfolio that includes student housing, military housing, senior housing and leased communities that are affordable. According to the National Senior Director of Property Maintenance for Sherwin-Williams, the company is equipped with all the tools that are required by Riverstone Residential’s vast property portfolio. Its distribution network, services and products will help Riverstone Residential to provide consistent products, colours and pricing to its customers across the nation.

Sherwin-Williams enters into national partnership agreements with the intention of helping multifamily management companies and organisations that make group purchases to maximise their efficiency and reach a higher level of net operating income. When such agreements are made for a long period, it can also help in stabilising costs and purchases.
