Fox Fire Glass Uses Clarity UltraSEAL ABW from Nanofilm for its Sandblasted Glass

Michigan-based architectural glass company has chosen Clarity UltraSEAL ABW provided by Nanofilm to provide protection and resistance against dirt and other contaminants in the environment.

The clarity of the sandblasted image isn't dampened or darkened, but is fully protected by Nanofilm Clarity UltraSEAL ABW.

The coating, which is invisible protects the glass surface without darkening and dampening the sandblasted glass. FoxFire Glass installed this coating on its 40 ft continuous sandblasted glass stair railing and balcony railing.

Another reason why FoxFire Glass chose the UltraSEAL ABW is that it is easy to apply. The process of applying the coating involves a single step wherein the coating comes in a self contained applicator. The user wipes the coating on the glass and wipes any excess coating without having to do any buffing. The long lasting seal provided by Clarity UltraSEAL ABW offers high resistance to oils, dirt, water, extreme weather and sunlight. The coating is ideal for interior and exterior applications. Though when used for interior applications the coating does not require re-applicaton, when the coating is exposed to extreme sun, rain, dirt and grime, it will require re-application once in three years.

Any existing original coating can also be refurbished on site within a matter of seconds with the help of an easy re-application process at ambient conditions eliminating the need for complicated heating or curing steps. Clarity UltraSEAL ABW provides enhanced scratch resistance without affecting the look of the sandblasted glass unlike other products, which dampen the brightness of the glass. Most existing applications are hard to apply and require frequent reapplication. FoxFire Glass provides decorative glass to residential and commercial projects in collaboration with interior and exterior designers, project owners, contractors and architects.
