$15 Million Construction Improvement Plans Commence in St Andrews Country Club

Construction improvement and redesign plans have commenced at St. Andrews Country Club.

The enhancement includes the redesign of two restaurants, clubhouse, landscaping, aquatic centre and recreation. The construction is expected to be completed by November 2014 in three phases.

Phase I of the construction plan includes landscaping and lighting of the front entry of the clubhouse, the men’s card room, Olde Course bunkers and locker rooms for ladies and men. This phase is likely to commence during this summer. The second phase, which is scheduled to begin in April 2013 involves the recreation of the aquatic centre, enhancements to the dining and lounge areas and additional enhancements to the clubhouse. Phase III is scheduled for June 2014 with functional and practical alterations to the Lakeside, entertainment facility and a free-standing dining area. The members of St Andrews Country Club were able to fund the renovation project without any additional assessment fees increase. According to St Andrews Country Club Chief Operating Officer Craig D. Martin the most important aspects of the renovation plan are the alterations planned for the dining and common recreational areas since they can be enjoyed by members of all ages.

The club has been in the process of implementing other improvements such as the installation of a new roof, new greens at the Olde Course, re-implementing a water irrigation system and installing a new air conditioning system. The Country Club is a resident only Platinum Club of America and an Emerald Club of America and is recognized by various international estate residences.
