Lumenergi Introduces New Room Solution

US based provider of network controlled lighting energy management solutions, Luminergi has introduced a new Room Solution under which the intelligent lighting control network can be used for small spaces.

The system can be customised to integrate with most lamp types that already exist in the building with dimming and control. Customers who purchase the new solution can use the lighting control network for small spaces and extend it to other parts of the office in the future. This can be done without additional investments and installation of outer power components, centralised software or a server network. Around 50% energy savings can be achieved at the same time by using this kind of lighting control system.

The new Room Solution will be introduced by the company at the upcoming LIGHTFAIR International to be held at Las Vegas. Apart from the new solution, the company is also offering a new Intelligent Sensor, which has occupancy detection and photo sensing capabilities put together. The occupancy detection feature of the sensor can be utilised when integrated with the new Room Solution and combined with a wall control switch. This set up can provide automatic pre-set scene control and local dimming control and be operated by the occupants of the building easily. The new sensor comes with 0-10V control that is compatible with many light sources such as LFLs, CFLs, Halogens and LEDs. Other features of the sensor include flash signalling control and programmed time-out. Since the new Room Solution does not use external power components it offers the flexibility to be scaled up to multiple rooms and substantial savings in energy.
