The HGTV Dream Home will be awarded to the winner of a grand prize giveaway package which will be presented during March 2013.

The Dream Home is located in Charleston S.C along the beaches in Indigo Park. The entry period for the official HGTV Dream Home Giveaway is till December 2012. The design of the Dream Home will combine contemporary architecture with earthy tones.
The home will cover an area of 3,000 sq.ft and will consist of three bedrooms including a double height great room. It will also feature a large sized gourmet kitchen, with a laundry and pantry located next to it. A central dining area and a loft space will overlook the great room. For the purpose of the architecture exterior supports of heavy timber, a large rear deck, solid beam trusses and a plunge pool have been used. There are two stories in the building which are made of pilings and will raise the main level by 12 ft. windows that have been placed with great care provide a good view of the waterways that lead up to the Atlantic Ocean.
Kiawah Island has many options such as golf, dining, shipping and spas for residents who wish to live a luxurious life. The island can be explored through boat, kayak or bike. HGTV is a home and lifestyle brand that specialises in cable network to more than 99 million households across the US.
