Standard Pacific Homes to Commence Construction of Watercrest at Parkland

Standard Pacific Homes has announced plans for the construction of a 450 unit community at Watercrest at Parkland. The community covers a total area of 288 ac and the Watercrest community covers an area of 1,949 ac.

Sales are likely to be launched by the beginning of 2013. A groundbreaking ceremony marking the beginning of this construction is to be held on May 15.

The community will feature new designs from Standard Pacific Homes and will range from 2,000sqft to 5,000sqft. The new designs include gourmet kitchens, large size Great rooms and master suites. A total of 12 floor plans are being offered as part of the project. Common amenities include a recreation centre and the Lakefront Club House. The community is located next to the Loxahatchee Road and the County Line Road and will soon be annexed to Parkland from Broward County. According to Standard Pacific’s South Florida President Dan Grosswald the company has created single and two storied designs with unique architecture specifically for this project. The company has been responsible for the construction of homes for more than 115,000 homes over the past 47 years of its operation. It operates mainly in South and North Carolina, Florida, Arizona and California.
