The YUW 750 XT system has a U-Factor as low as 0.30 and offers high design flexibility. It is ideal for application in low to mid-rise commercial structures. The system is designed to reduce a building’s need for energy and it meets the most strict new energy codes. The YUW 750 XT unitized wall system can be used in single-span ribbon walls, multi-span curtain walls and combination elevations. In addition to offering unmatched design flexibility, the unitized wall product supports the fast drying of the building envelope.

YKK AP has jointly worked with Erie Architectural Products (EAP), a specialized curtain wall fabricator, to develop the product. EAP supports YKK AP in complete engineering, assembly, pre-glazing and job-site delivery of the YUW 750 XT system. The system perfectly interfaces with Luminance light shelves and ThermaShade sun shades offered by YKK AP to deliver an entire sustainable design solution for buildings.

Oliver Stepe from YKK AP America stated that the expansion of enerGfacade portfolio offers building owners and architects with an exclusive choice for a superior façade system. YKK AP’s enerGfacade products are now available for application with standard 1” insulated glass and they also offer the option of adding high performance glass.
