D+E Construction Uses Cellular PVC Product from Azek to Enhance Historic Outdoor Spaces
The cellular PVC product from Azek, called AZEK Trim is being used by D&E Construction to enhance the life and appearance of historic outdoor spaces.
Various brands of Azek such as AZEK Deck and AZEK Porch are used by the company to enhance the appearance of living spaces and reduce maintenance costs. The owner of D&E Construction, Ergun Merdin has been encouraging the use of PVC since it provides similar appearance to historic houses with lower maintenance and labour costs and at a lesser time.
He also added that Azek Trim can be milled very easily. Houses in the Victorian style particularly cannot be readily milled and required customised milling. For such purposes, the company mills the exact replicas of the mouldings present in the original house through AZEK and offers the same to its clients.
AZEK Trim is also available in measurements of 4’x8’ which make them convenient for usage. The company even has templates based on its works in other buildings which will provide more options to its customers. Cellular PVC is a viable alternative to wood since it is more durable than wood and structures made of wood require funding for maintenance and restoration.
AZEK Building Products has more than two decades of experience in cellular PVC manufacturing. The company develops and distributes quality exterior building products that offer a suitable replacement solution for wood products in a variety of outdoor applications.
