New Continuous Insulation Solution from Rmax

Martin Heiskell, President and COO at Rmax, has declared that its ECOMAXci Wall Solution is now available in the market. This advanced insulation solution has been developed to satisfy varying air, fire and water building codes implemented in commercial buildings.

The ECOMAXci Wall solution has been tested to satisfy ABAA Air Barrier Assembly, NFPA 285, and ICC-ES Water-Resistive Barrier acceptance criteria. The ECOMAXci wall solution provides a complete building envelope design as it incorporates polyiso thermal insulation board, stone/mineral wool or no cavity fill, fiberglass, and Rmax’s tape and flashing. Heiskell claims that the ECOMAXci is a warranty-protected solution.

The ECOMAXci wall solution provides similar insulation option with the greatest R-value per inch obtaining up to 20.3 R-value in 3” nominal thickness. In addition, thermal leakage problems that are common with steel wall studs are removed, thus providing continuous insulation.

Heiskell stated that the ECOMAXci Wall Solution will become popular among builders, architects and contractors in view of few options available in the market and the changing building codes.

Rmax has been developing industrial, commercial, and residential polyiso insulations products and engineered solutions since 1978 to offer optimal solutions for improved energy efficiency.
