SLS Hotel New York will be jointly developed by Manhattan-based Moin Development and SBE Hotel Group, which is an illustrious hospitality organization that acquires, develops and manages high-quality hotels, restaurants and nightlife.
The hotel is at 444 Park Avenue and will be backed by an eminent team that will involve SBE CEO, Chairman and Founder Sam Nazarian and ace designer Philippe Starck. It is scheduled to be inaugurated in the third quarter of 2013.
The hotel will have 190 rooms and suites for visitors and also SBE’s famous restaurant and nightlife facilities on the rooftop and lobby. According to Nazarian, the high rate of customer satisfaction already proved by the SLS Hotels will be repeated multi-fold at Park Avenue, and will be reinforced by Philippe Starck and the personnel at Moin.
David Moinian, CEO Moin Development, echoed the sentiments and stated that the joint effort with SBE and Starck would add something vital to Manhattan’s lively region. Similar to Starck’s “Dream World” style of SLS Hotel South Beach, his ideas for SLS Hotel New York will showcase the essential virtues of the SLS Hotel brand and the Manhattan area. The hotel is situated in a region that has seen a spurt in real estate ratings and cultural, hospitality and retail segments. The final plan for the SLS Hotel New York, which is still to be concretized, will be brought to light by the SBE Hotel Group and Philippe Starck soon.
