The new products, bleachers in a combination of soft woods, and hard maple gymnasium floors with the original paint are being recycled as fixtures, floorings, etc.

With the aging of fitness facilities and upgrading of school architecture, many educational establishments change their gymnasium floors and bleachers. Many times sourced from run-down factories and agricultural structures, the likelihood of salvaging from educational establishments was an enthralling idea for Pioneer Millworks. The organization has salvaged bleacher boards and hard maple gymnasium floors in Fir, Pine and even Mahogany.

All Pioneer Millworks’ wood merchandise are sourced and produced in the U.S., as were the gymnasium floorings which were initially made by U.S. organizations for universities and schools. The flooring is embellished by an array of colors and triggers a quaint memory of the origin of the flooring.

Design experts have made cabinetry, walls and an array of fixtures with gymnasium bleachers, at the same time retaining the original finish and even row/aisle numbers. Pioneer Millworks’ de-nailing group have come up with some new methods to take out not only bolts but also old chewing gum!

As of date, Pioneer Millworks has salvaged more than 21 billion board feet of antique wood from landfills and other waste disposal channels. Reflecting its name, Pioneer Millworks is a pioneer in the salvaged antique wood sector. The establishment offers new life to old wood. It salvages wood in environmentally friendly ways. It is FSC authenticated and approved by Green America. Its products are worthy of LEED certification.
