Surmount Energy announced that its headquarters at Navi Mumbai, India, has been awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Commercial Interiors Platinum Rating from The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

LEED certification is attained when third-party verification proves that a building, home or community has been designed and built with strategies that focus on achieving high performance in areas of human and environmental health, such as sustainable site development, energy and water efficiency, materials and indoor environment.
