TRF Development Partners Selects Eco Red Shield Lumber Products for Preston Place Complex

Eco Building Products, Inc. announced today that one of the nation's largest non-profit building organizations on the east coast, TRF Development Partners, has selected Eco Building Products' flagship wood protection, Eco Red Shield, for use on Preston Place, a neighborhood of new, energy efficient, custom built townhomes for rent and for sale in Baltimore, Maryland.

This project is a mix between affordable and market rate houses breaking ground on February 15th, 2013.

TRF Development Partners is using Eco Red Shield for sill plate material (anchored to concrete) on a project in Jersey City. Coated lumber is supplied under our new ESR-3255 building code approval as the anchoring plates for a 22 unit pre-fab building currently under construction. An in depth article on our partnership was published in last month's ECOB World News page 97, and can be viewed at http://issuu.com/ecobworldnews.

"Christian Tirone, President of Modular Construction Services, introduced me to Graciela Cavicchia, Vice President of Development Operations for TRF, we hit it off. Graciela immediately recognized the benefits of Eco Red Shield coatings, adding to her portfolio of sustainable building materials. Once Graciela realized Eco Red Shield offered fire protection she was convinced we have the product of the future," stated Steve Conboy, President and CEO Of Eco Building Products, Inc. "ECOB is very excited to become a strategic partner with TRF Development Partners and look forward to working with them on several future projects," added Conboy.
