This new structural steel plant will launch Rigid into the heavy construction market providing structural steel for larger projects such as multi-story office buildings, hospitals, stadiums and other commercial ventures. This 126,000 square foot manufacturing facility is expected to bring over 200 jobs to the North Houston area over the next five years.
Rigid has a clear five year plan, to become the leader in the metal building / pre-engineered metal building industry as well as the structural steel market. Over the next five years Rigid will be taking the metal industry by storm with new products and services and expanding their market reach through growth, development and acquisitions. Rigid is preparing to announce its expansion into the coil business and creation of an international trading company that will emphasize the import and export of steel products worldwide. Rigid is going to bridge the gap between international suppliers and the US to offer top quality products to the construction industry at competitive pricing. As a single source supplier Rigid will be able to provide engineering services, metal buildings, metal roof and wall panels, structural steel, erection management services, coils and the necessary accessories to accompany any project.
Slating a goal of $200M in sales over the next 5 years Rigid is optimistic they will be able to take advantage of market growth.
