PGT to Debut New Vinyl French Door at NAHB International Builders' Show

PGT Industries, the nation's leading supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors announced today it will introduce a new Vinyl French Door at the NAHB International Builders' Show in Las Vegas on February 4, 2014, Booth C3012.

This product saves on energy costs with its highly insulating frame and panel construction and various energy efficient glass choices. It offers the aesthetics of a traditional wood door without the maintenance and is designed to withstand wind pressures of up to +/- 70 psf., making it a perfect choice for hurricane prone areas.

The new vinyl door can be configured as a single or double door, and offers options of impact or non-impact resistant glass, sidelites, and transoms. For added strength and security, the design also features a standard multi-point lock with an anti-lift feature that secures the doors to the frame. It boasts tough Miami-Dade certifications and its cellular vinyl frame and panels contribute to its ENERGY STAR® performance.

"This new door enables PGT to deliver a feature-rich solution for new construction as well as remodeling projects," said Todd Antonelli, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Whether a project calls for a standard or custom size, we can factory configure the door, sidelite and transom assemblies to meet those demands."

Three show attendees will have a chance to win the new French door, valued at up to $7,500, by visiting PGT at booth C3012.
