Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P., a leading independent producer of specialty hydrocarbon and fuels products, today announced a multi-year asphalt supply and marketing agreement with All States Asphalt, Inc. The agreement became effective on January 1, 2014.
"This agreement represents a significant opportunity to expand the distribution of our premium asphalt products into New York state and surrounding markets," stated Jennifer Straumins, President and COO of Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. "Historically, asphalt sales from our Northern refineries have been routed to customers in Mid-Continent and Western markets. Through this agreement, we will seek to supply substantial volumes of asphalt to previously untapped markets throughout the Northeast. We intend to evaluate similar opportunities as we seek to extend our geographic reach while growing our customer base."
