New and existing homeowners, who are building or remodeling, now have a one-of-a-kind digital tool to simplify and bring transparency to the home building and remodeling process. A new smartphone app, BuildCHX™, just hit the market for Android, promising to provide the homeowner with a step-by-step building roadmap and digital idea boards to share ideas, selections and creative inspiration on their projects. The Apple version launched November 2013.
Designed by veteran Dallas-based homebuilder, consultant and CEO of Hoebeke Builders, Bob Hoebeke, the app complements his recently published book, "UnHINGED: A Homebuilder's Secrets for Saving Time & Money."
"In a booming real estate market, the homebuilding business has exploded and is yet again big business," Hoebeke said. "I saw a unique opportunity with the app to make the building process simple, easy and ultimately minimize surprises."
Hoebeke was inspired to create the app after encountering the same questions from customers throughout his 35 years in the homebuilding business. The app answers the questions: "What happens next?" and "What selections should I be making?" Key features of the BuildCHX app include:

- Idea Boards – Clipping magazine pictures is a thing of the past with this new feature. Project boards allow users to upload and store inspiration, notes and creative ideas in an instant.
- TeamShare Project Photos + Ideas - Ensuring no vision is lost in translation, BuildCHX allows users to share their Idea Boards and Project Notes via Facebook, Twitter and the TeamShare function – a unique capability that shares ideas and building notes with the entire building team.
