TerraLUX Introduces Latest S Series LED Retrofit Kit at LightFair 2014

TerraLUX unveils its latest S Series LED Retrofit Kit at LightFair 2014 in Las Vegas. The SR95 replaces pin-based CFLs and ballasts in commercial surface mount fixtures, wall sconces and decorative fixtures.

The kit improves fixture light output and color quality, and consumes 50% to 75% less energy than CFLs.

In 24x7 lighting applications such as hallways, elevator lobbies and stairwells, burnt out bulbs represent safety concerns for building occupants and owners. The SR95 eliminates the need for maintenance staff to replace bulbs and ballasts, installs quickly into existing fixtures, and directly connects to either 120 or 277 VAC.

“The SR95 was designed to replace and outperform pin-based CFLs and pin-based LED lamps. Knowing that ambiance can be very important in hotel and multifamily buildings, we focused on improving both light output and color quality,” said Erik Milz, Vice President of Sales. “Building owners are able to realize payback in as little as 18 months for a wall sconce retrofit while eliminating bulb and ballast maintenance.”

The SR95 retrofit is rated for 24x7 installations, maintains L70 beyond 60,000 hours, and includes a 5 year warranty. LEDSenseTM thermal protection in the patented driver design enables trouble-free operation in sealed fixtures.
