Topgolf in Allen, TX, near Dallas, is a golf-themed facility that combines competition with entertainment, as well as event venues and two bars serving a variety of food and beverages.

With heavy traffic, increasing popularity and waiting times that exceed several hours, it is easy to understand the tremendous wear and tear on the decking of the three-level complex. After just three years, the existing composite decking was badly stained and worn. This was an opportunity for Topgolf to replace the old decking and expand the facility's popular upper terrace with a massive 3,700 sq. ft. deck.
For the terrace's new rooftop space, Chris Stedman, owner of Decks by Design in the Dallas area, recommended AZEK Deck in Kona®, a deep, rich brown. The second phase of the installation was to install 1,850 sq. ft. of AZEK Deck off the front of the building on the main level, with a matching arbor and planters. In this area, garage doors lead onto the deck from the main bar to an outdoor Beer Garden, for an open air feeling surrounded by lush greenery.
Stedman says he suggested AZEK Deck because it is can handle heavy usage with its stain and scratch resistance, and it fits in well with the casual, relaxed atmosphere of this neighborhood hangout.
