Home Improvement Executive's annual Innovation Awards are selected based on interviews with retail buyers and store personnel, research, and product achievements. BrassCraft Manufacturing won a coveted Gold Innovation Award, with a specific nod to its Safety+PLUS® gas connectors.

Safety+PLUS® gas connectors combine excess flow technology with the advanced corrosion resistance of the ProCoat® polymer coating to provide a safer connector. The Safety+PLUS® excess flow valve, when triggered, immediately restricts gas flow to a non-hazardous level (bypass flow) to prevent dangerous release of gas into the home. Safety+PLUS® gas connectors are designed, machined and assembled in the USA at the company's manufacturing plant in Corona, CA.
