Launched in summer of 2014, the vision of FM Design-Build-Systems has been evolving for many years. Founder and entrepreneur Tim Kuntz, President of FM Design-Build-Systems has been doing market research, and strategizing for the past 4 years… and more recently, moved to the Okanagan (Kelowna, BC) region to execute the vision.
"Offering contemporary (prefab-architecture) designs, using System Built™ methodologies has been a dream of mine for over 4 years", says Kuntz. "The potential applications for this style of architecture in Western Canada are unlimited."
After trying to partner with several regional, provincial, and United States suppliers of factory built traditional and contemporary homes, Mr. Kuntz met Architect and fellow visionary Graham Smith, CEO/Partner of Altius Architecture at the Dwell and Design L.A, in California this past June.
Altius Architecture was showing one of its latest client designs, following which Kuntz and Smith, both Canadians, decided to meet again to discuss Western Canada's potential for this method of design-build. "Western Canada is a natural growth market for contemporary (prefab-architecture) designs"
